Sunday Worship *** 9:15 am

For the months of July and August, members attend Sunday worship at St. Paul's, South Porucpine

St. Chad's Anglican Parish was started even before the church building existed. In the 1950's the parish met in a store for worship while the church was built. Once the basement was finished, worship moved worship there until the church worship area was completed. All members of the parish were active in putting the building together. They either contributed to its physical formation with their labour directly or were active in raising funds to pay for it.

The original worship area was much larger than it is now. After several renovations the present structure now has the Synod office using about half the building space for its offices.

The Parish holds two Tea and Bake Sales every year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The women of the parish are known for their baking and the basement is full for both of these celebrations.

Services are held at 9:15am Sundays for most of the year, however because of its proximity to St. Paul's South Porcupine, in the months of July and August members attend that church for Sunday worship.
