Although the Church of the Apostles has been without a full time rector for more than ten years, this dedicated group continues on. Worship services are held at 11 am Sunday mornings and are led by either the lay leaders or part time sacramental ministry. Sunday School is held every week. There is a lunch and time for fellowship following every service.

This is a busy parish. They have a tea room in the summer for tourists and a thrift shop is open year round. They put on fund raising lunches and suppers; hold social nights; and have bible studies. Once a year they hold an appreciation night to acknowledge people not only from the parish, but also from the community, who have given of themselves - their time, their talents and their treasure - throughout the year. At Christmas they put on a dinner for those less fortunate than themselves. Every June, they have a parish picnic aboard the Polar Princess as they sail out to James Bay. This is a parish that truly lives in community.
